Philanthropy

  • Meyer Foundation – Designed and facilitated the Wayfinding convening series centering grantees.

  • Bay Area Culture Funders for Equity (BACFE) – Led design and process for awarding $1.2M to underserved artists and arts organizations in the Bay Area.

  • Borealis Philanthropy – Strengthened organizational development and alignment.

  • Common Future – Facilitated staff retreats during shifts toward a co-leadership model and clarified systems change strategy.

  • Emergent Fund – Facilitated staff and advisor retreats, supported team development as staff grew from 2 to 6, and guided post-retreat action planning.

  • Funders for LGBTQ Issues – Designed and facilitated staff and board retreats to build connection and alignment.

  • B’More Invested (Open Society Institute & Baltimore’s Promise) – Co-designed participatory grantmaking distributing $2.3M to grassroots leaders of color.

  • Community Infrastructure Fund for Mutual Aid (Omidyar Network) – Designed and implemented a year-long participatory grantmaking and learning journey, awarding $750K to projects building mutual aid infrastructure.

Arts & Cultural Institutions

  • Baltimore Public Media – Staff retreat facilitation.

  • Threewalls – Developed board operating principles during ED sabbatical year.

  • Afro Charities – Provided organizational strategy and advising that informed a successful major fundraising campaign and building project.

  • National Arts Strategies (NAS) – Interim Program Director for the Creative Community Fellowship.

  • Rap Research Lab – Designed and facilitated sessions using hip-hop and data visualization to explore culture, equity, and storytelling.

  • Valerie J. Maynard Foundation – Board member advancing legacy work.

  • Detroit Narrative Agency (DNA) – Led strategic roadmapping retreat.

  • Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) – Adjunct Faculty in Curatorial Practice.

  • Black Women Build Baltimore – Designed sabbatical transition planning.

  • Building Movement Project’s SolidarityIs – Served as a coach supporting frontline organizations to expand solidarity practices, narratives, and partnerships across movements for justice and equity.

  • Black Women’s Health Imperative – Designed and facilitated a national convening on integrating doulas into healthcare systems (Being in Meaningful Partnership: Doulas in the Healthcare System).

  • Mabley Comedy Club – Founder of a Black, queer, feminist comedy community of practice.

  • Baltimore Poetry Coalition – Founding member of a collective of poets, MCs, and spoken-word artists advancing equity and expanding Baltimore’s literary arts ecosystem.

  • Meridians Lab: Experiments in Art, Change & Praxis – Conceived and led a highly interactive, ephemeral exhibition presented by Transformer Gallery, exploring emergence, feminine economy, and radical imagination as frameworks for cultural transformation.

  • We Need a Code Word (Podcast) – Co-host and creator.

  • Locally Grown Festival, Baltimore Center Stage – Curator.

  • US Department of Arts & Culture (USDAC) – Chief Weaver of Social Fabric, launched national Citizen Artist Salon Series.
